Playing in their first GosuCup, KD.HoN were off to a magnificent start, winning both Clan Unknown Entity and Clan Follow Ladde to progress to the semi finals of the GosuQualifier #1. After those emphatic wins they were always bound to get some stiff Competition in the semi-finals. Clan OWLS, beating both Vakava Gaming and aNimus gaming respectively, were their next rival. Lineups for both teams were: KD.HoN - (Nymphora, Jeraziah, Bombardier, Forsaken Archer and Tempest) Clan OWLS - (Torturer, Magmus, Gauntlet, Chipper and Puppet Master). KD.HoN deciding to go with the Fa, Jeraziah and nymphora trilane with tempest farming the woods, and Bombardier taking midsolo up against Chipper. Clan OWLS went with Puppet Master soloing the top lane, having no enemy heroes to hinder his farming. Gauntlet took the solo bot role while Torturer and Magmus took on roaming/ganker roles. In the end, needless to say, the Puppet master prevailed over Forsaken Archer in the sense farm, picking up his Alchemist Bones only 6 minutes into the game, and farm therefore skyrocketing up to give him a useful advantage over his adversaries. KD.HoN has had their first loss since stepping up in competitive play, but they sure are looking good in the sense of a new team being able to step up to the challenge in a big way as they have. KD.HoN are still in the run for the HoN Super Series title, playing their round 3 game on Monday 28 March.
